Gold Forecast
Gold price started 4300$ at the beginning of 2026. Gold gave stupendous returns in 2025. Little we know its not over. Gold prices rose from 4300$ to 5600$ by the end of January. Just like movies US extracted Venezuelan President. Gold followed with big hike from 4300 to 5600$ on geo political turmoil. Then gold ( xauusd ) crashed from 5600$ to 4400$ in 2 days. Roller coaster would be an understatement , the way gold prices behaved in January. Gold and Silver price liquidated and resulted in one of the most liquidated day in history of modern markets.
Gold prices faced extreme pressure when Trump announced he is nominating Kevin Warsh as a new FED chairman. If approved he may be a hawkish Fed chairman which may hike interest rates in future instead of cutting. This sentiment didn’t run good for gold buyers and market plummeted mostly on profit booking and below $5000 market faced extreme pressure till $4400.
Gold prices recovered smartly and now trading at $5050 today at 4th February 2026. Gold has recovered smartly on geo political tensions between US and Iran. Yesterday one of Iran’s drone was intercepted by US carrier and shot down , which elevated gold prices even further.
Gold prices reversed from 5090$ to 4900$ in single trading session ( 04-05th Feb 2026 ) . Market is still gauging geo political tensions for gold prices.
Technical chart suggests good supports at 4000$ and 3800$. Till gold is holding these major supports it should clear new all time high before end of the year.
If gold slips below 4000-3800$ zone and manage to give 2-3 days close then expect gold prices to test extreme levels of 3000$ and even more in gold prices cannot be ruled out.
Silver 2026 Forecast
Silver prices started from 72$ in January and tested 120$ withtin a single month. More than 50% gains in single month. It also reversed from 120$ to 76$ in same month. Silver is something which should scare intraday traders. Major hurdle at 126$ and major support at 70$ and 50$. I will update once again if these levels breached
